I spent at least one morning a week in my kids’ classrooms helping with math, putting together homework packets, or helping with special activities. Here I am helping students decorate a mailbox for Valentines.

During Distance Learning, our teachers chose creative ways to engage our students. This particular 'scavenger hunt' required students to find items around the house that fit particular criteria. It was one of my son's favorite lessons.

Volunteering in the classroom gave me a clearer picture of the daily expectations and routines. Here we are celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday making some green eggs and ham. The kids were so excited to help by getting to each crack an egg.
